Happy Birthday.......to me. Happy Birthday...to me! Happy Birthday.... dear meeeeee! Happy Birthday toooooooo ME! HA HA HA If you can't tell it's my birthday. It's been good so far. My family is taking me out to lunch and my best friend is going to get me a fabulous present. Can't wait to see what it will look like. Anyways......time to get off my high horse and talk about someone else's birthday. Can you guess who, He's world renoun and we take a whole month to celebrate his birthday? It's Jesus of course and I still haven't figured out what I am going to give him as a present. I want it to be very special. I've asked him what he wants and I think He's still thinking about it. ha ha Anyone got any ideas???????

Hey you guys. Im back to blogging. Work is going good but we keep having a printer problem. I can't tell you how many techs have been here to work on that thing. It's driving us nuts. I mean we finally get something to work on during the slow season and then the printers act up! So anyways.......how about it's December! Where has the year gone? December is a good month though. I not only get to celebrate my birthday, but also the birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ. Thank God for that day! I got to thinking the other day about how we celebrate Christmas here in America. We give gifts to one another in rememberence of when the 3 wise men gave Jesus gifts on his birthday. The thing that really hit me is why we give each other gifts on his birthday? On everyone else's birthday we give only that person gifts. Why have we taken our Saviour's birthday as a day to give everyone a gift? Have we forgotten that it's his birthday and are we taken time to give him gifts or have we set it aside to be greedy and give only people gifts? So this year I'm thinking what can I give my Lord and King on his birthday, not what can i give everyone except him. We seem to forget that tiny little detail. So please remember the real reason for the season and celebrate Jesus' birthday by giving him a gift, such as your heart. I promise it will be the best investment you've ever made. God said give and it shall be given unto you. So my prayer today is Lord what would you like for your birthday?

So I'm back to blogging again. Another slow day at work. Everyone has already had a wedding and all the other weddings are few and far between. Not many people get married in November I have noticed. Maybe it's because outdoor weddings are so popular and it's too cold for those. Who knows? Personally I can feel love in the air this time of the year. It's getting close to Christmas and everyone wants to be on good ground with their significant other because maybe...just maybe there will be a proposal on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day or New Years, which i doubt most of those proposals will be sober. Hope they think twice before asking. ha ha Anyways back to the saying ''Love is in the air". What is it about fall that feels so romantic? Is it the weather? I mean it's not hot but it's getting cool. Just cool enough to need a blanket and someone to snuggle with in the park. If you're an indoorsy person then I would recomend turning on the fireplace and drinking cocoa while lighting candles. I love when a room is lit up by the fireplace or candle light....it's definetly romantic. Someone once told me that romantic is a feeling not an atmosphere but I have to say the atmosphere sure helps set the mood. Well enough about my luvy duvy feelings.....go grab a significant other and snuggle to keep warm!

So today is the first time I've ever blogged. It's for my job at Wiregrass Weddings. It's kind of slow this time of the year. I've only worked here since September, but my boss says after Christmas we'll be slammed with work. She says just wait till all the girls get back from grandmas and Christmas dinner. Our phones will be ringing off the hook. I think that's funny that everyone gets engaged at Christmas. I guess it's the giving time of the year and what better gift to receive than a ring? I know I wouldn't mind getting asked at Christmas; I'm getting a ring! ha ha but I've always liked to be different. I want my engagement to be special and beyond the ordinary. I really want to be caught off guard. If I suspect it I think it'll ruin the surprise. I want the moment to be very memorable, something that I'll never forget and can't wait to tell everyone about. Anyways back to reality. It's going to be awhile before all this engagement talk. I think i need to be in a relationship first. LOL. But I think I may have a prospect at least. Who knows? So let's get back to talking Wiregrass Weddings...... This job is awesome! It's right across town for me and we work in our boss's house. Although, the new building is coming together very fast. I can't wait to have my own office. We make wedding programs, wedding invitations, party invitations, and also sell wedding jewelry through other companies. Alot of the local schools use us to print programs for extracurricular activities ranging from graduation, football tickets, club meetings...you name it. I guess our possibilities are limitless. We have two websites. We don't really advertise besides online because wedding stuff is our main focus. So the other things we do (invitations, school programs...etc) are word of mouth, which can get around fast in a small town like Elba. ha ha So if you're thinking of something you want printed let me direct you to our two websites. www.wiregrassweddings.com and www.programsandbulletins.com Check us out and call us for any occasion. 1-800-890-1145. Thanks for your time and I'll be back to blogging soon!
